Taylor Drury

Founder, TaylorMade Analytics, LLC

I could not be more honored to contribute to this important groundwork for the HEAL Lab’s goal of improving health and well-being of caregivers. As a caregiver myself, the HEAL Lab’s mission is very close to my heart.

Dr. Taylor Drury, Ph.D. is the Founder and CEO of TaylorMade Analytics – a research and data analytics consulting company – and a Visiting Professor at the University of North Florida where she has taught both Introduction to Psychology and Research Methods in Psychology. With a Ph.D. in Aging Sciences from the University of South Florida, her research explores health across the lifespan. Specifically, her work has explored how sleep and stress independently and jointly affect health and well-being among vulnerable populations such as oncology nurses and cancer survivors.

Dr. Drury’s initial introduction to research was through her undergraduate thesis and research assistantship on the influence of situational factors in how our personalities affect our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She holds numerous certifications in data analytics and biostatistics, and she has served as the founding lab manager for two university research labs – Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Lab at the University of North Florida and The Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab at University of South Florida. Through her teaching, consulting, and research, Dr. Drury continues to empower others to approach real-world challenges with sound scientific inquiry.

Dr. Drury’s role in the HEAL Lab is to establish workflows, provide statistical consulting and data management services, assist in participant recruitment, and contribute to scientific publications of the lab’s research findings.
