Olivia is a second-year medical student at Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. She describes her time in the HEAL Lab’s early years as an experience that offered remarkable breadth and growth: “I was able to work on so many different things and learned so much more than I ever expected.” Olivia notes that her work helped her gain confidence in taking a project from concept to manuscript and that the lab’s focus on caregiver studies was particularly meaningful to her. “The work done in the lab is special,” she reflects, “and I appreciated the opportunity to work on projects with such meaning.”
