Kathryn Reinheimer
Graduate Researcher
Working with the HEAL Lab has been a valuable experience. I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for how research can directly support people’s healing journeys and how small insights in the lab can grow into meaningful change in the community.
Kathryn Reinheimer is a graduate student in the Psychological Sciences program at the University of North Florida. Her academic focus centers on health psychology and meaning-making processes in the context of grief and survivorship. Alongside her coursework, Kathryn enjoys working on projects that bring research into the community to help promote belonging, resilience, and well-being.
At the HEAL Lab, Kathryn is currently helping with participant recruitment and outreach for studies focused on coping, health, and emotional recovery. Being part of the team has given her a close-up look at how research translates into real support for people. The experience is shaping her future path toward work that blends psychology, community engagement, and compassionate care.
